Wedding Photobooths in Cheltenham and Hereford!

It’s been another great weekend of weddings and parties around the country. Saturday saw photo booths at the lovely Frogmill in Cheltenham and also a bit closer to home here in Herefordshire at Flansford Priory near Goodrich Castle in Ross on Wye. Hereford Wedding Photobooth Amy and Rupert Of course, we’d like to wish the happy couples, Amy & Rupert and Liz & Mark all the best for the future. The guys had a fantastic time with the photo booths and all of the guests were great. Certainly some cracking photos! Fingers cross we’ll get to see everyone again soon! Liz and Mark's Wedding Frogmill, Cheltenham   Before the weekend was over, we also had the pleasure of attending Victoria and Kazim’s wedding at the wonderful Birtsmorton Court in Worcestershire – stay tuned for photos and a blog post!

Heidi & Richs Photo Booth in Hay on Wye

Photobooth Hay on Wye
Wow, That was a cold one!! This month we had the pleasure of attending the wedding reception of Heidi and Rich in the beautifully historic town of Hay on Wye. We set up in a gazebo in the patio area of the venue which did get a little chilly – in fact the reported temperature did reach -2c and there was a flutter of snow!

But we weren’t there to get warm, we were there to celebrate with the Heidi and Rich on their wonderful day :) And I must say, what a lovely group of people they were – so nice that I felt it a bit rude when we had to leave. Which we did after being given a plateful of the worlds thickest lasagne surrounded by slices of ham and beef.

It was a really great night indeed – why not check out the photos on our facebook page!

Ellis Wedding Show, Penyard House

Ellis Wedding Show

On 10th February this year Penyard House hosted another of the amazing Ellis Wedding Shows. Situated out in Ross on Wye, Hereford, Penyard House was absolutely full of wedding suppliers and bursting at the seams with brides to be and their partners.

Spanning god knows how many rooms and over 3 floors, there was a look of products and services on offer, from wedding photographers in Hereford and the West Midlands to Chocolate Fountain hire, suit hire, harpists, sweets, stationary, flowers, wedding DJ’s… the list goes on!

Being big fans of the Ellis Wedding Shows, we try to get to as many as we can. This time Ellis really outdid herself. As well as taking over even more of the lovely wedding venue, Ellis added a chillout area for the men who were, reluctantly, dragged along when they’d rather be in the pub or watching the football! On top of that, Ellis put on a complete catwalk show exhibition to show off the wedding dresses from Lily Oliver Bridal and Amore Bridal Wear with mens suits from Bill Child Formal Wear with commentary by wedding DJ Pete Stead.

Hire a Photo Booth!

And, let’s not forget, myPhotobooth was there! As usual, we had the photo booth all setup and running so the visitors could have a go and see how everything works – and, or course, take some photos home with them. You can find the photos from the day on our facebook gallery.

So remember! If you are looking to hire a photo booth, give us a shout!

Saxtys Prom Fayre, Hereford

Being prom season it was only inevitable that we would be attending a prom fayre. This time around our host was Hayley from Turner & Turner Events who organised the fayre at Saxtys Bar in Hereford on Sunday 24th February.

We saw many familiar faces and some new! Finally got to meet the wonderful photographer Jay from All Seeing Eye in person too. There was everything that you could think might be needed for a prom, including;

Bill Childs Formal Wear
All Seeing Eye Photography
Aston Rose Bridal Centre
Prestige Events
Makeup Artist Naomi Emmanuelle
Hair Stylist Hilarys Wedlocks
Cesanexa Creations

and of course the best photo booth hire in the West Midlands! – myPhotobooth (so come and like us on facebook!)

We had a very productive day and would like to thank everyone involved. I would also like to give Jay another shout out.

Jay works as a photographer at All Seeing Eye in Hereford. She does all the usual portraits and prom photos but has just started a new service called “Bling!”. Bling! is prom photographer with a difference, rather than your standard backdrop photography (as we also do!) Jay shoots all over the place making the photos much more interesting and personal – as you can see from these examples … Oop not yet, I’ll get some samples from Jay to include soon. For now you’ll have to take my word for it, the photos are fantastic!

December: Photo Booth Hire in Bristol, Camden, Wales and Warwickshire!

Well it has been an absolute manic start to December, it seems like we’ve only woken up to go to work! Still, who else gets to say that they go to parties for a living?

A month full of Christmas parties means only one thing; lots and lots of photo booth hire for corporate events, and what’s better than a photo booth as a fun type of corporate entertainment? – nothing! (well, we think so anyway!)

We started off with the Capita Christmas Party in the luxurious @Bristol Exhibition Centre in Bristols Millennium Square. To get to the party on the 2nd floor, we had to go through the magnificent exhibition rooms on the lower floor, which proves to be quite an experience in the dark. Needless to say, at one point, I lost my way and ended up inside a giant talking vagina! The party was a great success and everyone there had a great time.

Next up we sent Mark and Lauren off to the Milford Haven Port Authority Christmas party in … you guessed it… Milford Haven. A long one, but another great success! Thanks Lauren and Mark!

After a lovely Sunday spent mostly in bed asleep, we were ready to go again. This time Jamie and Elliott headed off to the big lights of London. Set up in The Sway Bar in Camden, the party was prepped ready for the 700 employees of the lavish Gourmet Burger Kitchen due and went on well into the early hours. A big thank you to Steve (the Santa costume suited you ;)) and Zoe from GBK and to the girl whose doughnut I ate, if it wasn’t in her hand at the time, I’d happily claim it an accident! Despite the hefty parking ticket – thanks Camden Town Council – the night was a great success and we got back to Hereford in a record 2 hours 44 minutes!

So that was Monday and it wasn’t long before we were off again, this time heading out towards Caernarfon along the north Welsh coast for the Magnox Rewards and Recognition Awards Ceremony. A slow start, but the crowds soon began to grow and queues lengthen. The awards were held in The Celtic Royal Hotel amid gale force winds – which proved to be quite cold. However, inside it was much warmer and Debbie had done a great job of organising the nights entertainment. An eventful return journey with no map or sat nav and no mobile phone signal meant that the 8 hour round trip was definitely a sign to go to bed again.

Come Saturday, it was time to wrap up the week with one more photo booth booking. This time a bit closer in Kenilworth, Warwickshire  (just past Birmingham over towards Coventry). It was the PPS Works Christmas party – and it certainly fit the bill. A big thank you to Kate and Bernie who arranged the night and of course to all of the guests who attended. Setup in the events building of The Chesford Grange Hotel it was merely seconds before people opted to jump in the photo booth instead of eating dinner. I’d also like to thank ‘Bo’ for rubbing his genitals on my head and Debbie “flower” for showing us her nickers in an innoventive attempt at keeping her photos safe. We can only imagine what her husbands reaction was once they got home!

So that was us for the first week in December! Don’t forget, there is plenty of time to hire a photo booth for your Christmas or New Years party and if you get in quick you could take advantage of our photo booth hire promotions. If we aren’t lucky enough to see you before, we would like to wish you a happy Christmas and all the best for the new year!
