Premiership Photo Booth Hire in Birmingham

Hot on the heels of Amir Khans photo booth at the end of January, we were promptly booked for the 26th birthday celebration of Premiership striker Luke Moore. Luke has been putting in the time with Swansea FC as they move up through the middle of the league after his recent transfer from Aston Villa.

Setting up in Birminghams Bluu Bar, we ran through the evening and had quite a busy night. As well as the birthday photo booth, Luke also had a DJ and a couple of torso ice sculptures. But these weren’t ordinary ice sculptures no. Shots of vodka were poured into the neck of the torso and chilled as it made it’s way through the ice body before coming out of the nether regions into a glass. And to top things off the drinks were poured by a number of girls wearing nothing but grass skirts and nipple stickers! Which came as a bit f a shock to our recent employee Phil.

Far from being the typical footballer you see in the papers, Luke was very down to earth and clearly out to have a good time with his mates without going over the top with all of the celebrity bravado, making the whole night a pleasure to to attend.

BH High School Prom Photo Booth, Swansea

It’s prom season! And what’s the best thing to have at a high school prom? That’s right, a photo booth! Providing prom and grad ball entertainment all over England and Wales, myPhotobooth is a must!

And this time around it was the turn of the Bishop Hedley Catholic High School Prom in the wonderful city of Swansea, Wales. Coming from Hereford, it was quite an enjoyable surprise to find that pretty much everything in Swansea is open 24 hours and there are 3 McDonalds within a 1km square – well, according to the SatNav anyway.

We made our way down to the Maritime Quarter ready to setup in the Swansea Marriott Hotel.

As always, the staff were on top form and very helpful – although we were hoping to see ‘Nessa’ on the doors. After a great dinner and awards ceremony, students and teachers a like were free to hit the bar and start enjoying the nights entertainment. The evening went particularly well and we had a fantastic time. A big thank you to the staff of the Marriott, to Jessica for organising the prom and especially to all of the guests who were very well behaved and a pleasure to entertain.

Amir Khan Engagement Photo Booth Bolton

It is with great pleasure that I can announce that late in January we were fortunate to be invited to take our photo booth to Bolton Wanderers Football Stadium for the lavish £150,000 engagement party of champion boxer Amir Khan and his beautiful fiance Faryal Makhdoom.

As you can imagine, the engagement party was quite extraordinary! As well as having our photo booth hire in the Bolton Reebook stadium, the happy couple also had fire eaters, videographers, photographers, chocolate fountains, music, DJ’s, Violinists, hypnotists as well as appearances by Bollywood legends such as Imran Khan and Bonafide! We set our photo booth up in the Premier Suite and it proved to be quite a hit!

Boxing friend Ricky Hatton was also just one of the many celebrity guests in attendance and helped to make the day something really special.

We would also like to thank the staff at the Reebok Stadium for their help – especially Paul who went above the call of duty throughout the day. It really was a fantastic experience and the location of the photo booth was greatly appreciated.

For our male fans, I’m sure you’re all wandering what kind of cars they arrived in? Well, there were quite a few impressive motors there including two very large Rolls Royces, a stretched Limo, Audi R8 Convertable, numerous Mercedes and the like. And one very impressive jet black Lamboghini Gallardo which I believe go for around £65,000 on autotrader!

If you would like to hire a photo booth for your wedding or engagement, why not give us a call and let us make your party just as special.

December: Photo Booth Hire in Bristol, Camden, Wales and Warwickshire!

Well it has been an absolute manic start to December, it seems like we’ve only woken up to go to work! Still, who else gets to say that they go to parties for a living?

A month full of Christmas parties means only one thing; lots and lots of photo booth hire for corporate events, and what’s better than a photo booth as a fun type of corporate entertainment? – nothing! (well, we think so anyway!)

We started off with the Capita Christmas Party in the luxurious @Bristol Exhibition Centre in Bristols Millennium Square. To get to the party on the 2nd floor, we had to go through the magnificent exhibition rooms on the lower floor, which proves to be quite an experience in the dark. Needless to say, at one point, I lost my way and ended up inside a giant talking vagina! The party was a great success and everyone there had a great time.

Next up we sent Mark and Lauren off to the Milford Haven Port Authority Christmas party in … you guessed it… Milford Haven. A long one, but another great success! Thanks Lauren and Mark!

After a lovely Sunday spent mostly in bed asleep, we were ready to go again. This time Jamie and Elliott headed off to the big lights of London. Set up in The Sway Bar in Camden, the party was prepped ready for the 700 employees of the lavish Gourmet Burger Kitchen due and went on well into the early hours. A big thank you to Steve (the Santa costume suited you ;)) and Zoe from GBK and to the girl whose doughnut I ate, if it wasn’t in her hand at the time, I’d happily claim it an accident! Despite the hefty parking ticket – thanks Camden Town Council – the night was a great success and we got back to Hereford in a record 2 hours 44 minutes!

So that was Monday and it wasn’t long before we were off again, this time heading out towards Caernarfon along the north Welsh coast for the Magnox Rewards and Recognition Awards Ceremony. A slow start, but the crowds soon began to grow and queues lengthen. The awards were held in The Celtic Royal Hotel amid gale force winds – which proved to be quite cold. However, inside it was much warmer and Debbie had done a great job of organising the nights entertainment. An eventful return journey with no map or sat nav and no mobile phone signal meant that the 8 hour round trip was definitely a sign to go to bed again.

Come Saturday, it was time to wrap up the week with one more photo booth booking. This time a bit closer in Kenilworth, Warwickshire  (just past Birmingham over towards Coventry). It was the PPS Works Christmas party – and it certainly fit the bill. A big thank you to Kate and Bernie who arranged the night and of course to all of the guests who attended. Setup in the events building of The Chesford Grange Hotel it was merely seconds before people opted to jump in the photo booth instead of eating dinner. I’d also like to thank ‘Bo’ for rubbing his genitals on my head and Debbie “flower” for showing us her nickers in an innoventive attempt at keeping her photos safe. We can only imagine what her husbands reaction was once they got home!

So that was us for the first week in December! Don’t forget, there is plenty of time to hire a photo booth for your Christmas or New Years party and if you get in quick you could take advantage of our photo booth hire promotions. If we aren’t lucky enough to see you before, we would like to wish you a happy Christmas and all the best for the new year!
