Well it has been an absolute manic start to December, it seems like we’ve only woken up to go to work! Still, who else gets to say that they go to parties for a living?
A month full of Christmas parties means only one thing; lots and lots of photo booth hire for corporate events, and what’s better than a photo booth as a fun type of corporate entertainment? – nothing! (well, we think so anyway!)
We started off with the Capita Christmas Party in the luxurious @Bristol Exhibition Centre in Bristols Millennium Square. To get to the party on the 2nd floor, we had to go through the magnificent exhibition rooms on the lower floor, which proves to be quite an experience in the dark. Needless to say, at one point, I lost my way and ended up inside a giant talking vagina! The party was a great success and everyone there had a great time.
Next up we sent Mark and Lauren off to the Milford Haven Port Authority Christmas party in … you guessed it… Milford Haven. A long one, but another great success! Thanks Lauren and Mark!
After a lovely Sunday spent mostly in bed asleep, we were ready to go again. This time Jamie and Elliott headed off to the big lights of London. Set up in The Sway Bar in Camden, the party was prepped ready for the 700 employees of the lavish Gourmet Burger Kitchen due and went on well into the early hours. A big thank you to Steve (the Santa costume suited you ;)) and Zoe from GBK and to the girl whose doughnut I ate, if it wasn’t in her hand at the time, I’d happily claim it an accident! Despite the hefty parking ticket – thanks Camden Town Council – the night was a great success and we got back to Hereford in a record 2 hours 44 minutes!
So that was Monday and it wasn’t long before we were off again, this time heading out towards Caernarfon along the north Welsh coast for the Magnox Rewards and Recognition Awards Ceremony. A slow start, but the crowds soon began to grow and queues lengthen. The awards were held in The Celtic Royal Hotel amid gale force winds – which proved to be quite cold. However, inside it was much warmer and Debbie had done a great job of organising the nights entertainment. An eventful return journey with no map or sat nav and no mobile phone signal meant that the 8 hour round trip was definitely a sign to go to bed again.
Come Saturday, it was time to wrap up the week with one more photo booth booking. This time a bit closer in Kenilworth, Warwickshire (just past Birmingham over towards Coventry). It was the PPS Works Christmas party – and it certainly fit the bill. A big thank you to Kate and Bernie who arranged the night and of course to all of the guests who attended. Setup in the events building of The Chesford Grange Hotel it was merely seconds before people opted to jump in the photo booth instead of eating dinner. I’d also like to thank ‘Bo’ for rubbing his genitals on my head and Debbie “flower” for showing us her nickers in an innoventive attempt at keeping her photos safe. We can only imagine what her husbands reaction was once they got home!
So that was us for the first week in December! Don’t forget, there is plenty of time to hire a photo booth for your Christmas or New Years party and if you get in quick you could take advantage of our photo booth hire promotions. If we aren’t lucky enough to see you before, we would like to wish you a happy Christmas and all the best for the new year!
